Our client, a fast-growing technology company, is seeking to hire a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) based remotely within the continental U.S. The CHRO will report directly to the CEO and serve as a strategic architect of our HR vision, ensuring alignment between people strategies and business goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute an HR strategy that propels our transition to a public company
- Culture & Engagement: Build a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and innovation
- IPO Readiness: Lead HR initiatives for IPO prep, including executive compensation, development of our incentive equity program, proxy report CD&A disclosure, and other regulatory compliance process
- Executive Collaboration: Advise the executive team, board, and shareholders on HR strategies
- Performance & Development: Implement performance management and leadership development programs
- Change Management: Guide the organization through growth and change, and lead integration of acquired companies
- Employee Relations: Promote open communication and collaboration in a distributed work environment, and address employee concerns
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure legal compliance in all countries, states and cities where employees sit, and best HR practices
- Compensation & Benefits: Design competitive compensation and benefit programs to attract and retain top talent
- Innovation & Improvement: Continuously enhance HR functions to support our growth
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 20+ years in HR leadership, with high-growth tech and public company experience, especially newly-public companies
- Education: Bachelor’s in HR or related field; Master’s preferred. SPHR/PHR certification is a plus
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of HR practices, including FMLA, FLSA, national and state labor laws in all countries, states, and cities where our distributed workforce sits, and tech industry nuances
- Remote Leadership: Proven success in leading global, remote teams
- Executive Presence: Experience managing high-profile executive personalities and complex stakeholder relationships
- Innovative Mindset: A forward-thinking approach to leveraging technology in HR
- Communication: Stellar interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and foster a collaborative culture
